Mabel Sampson

Mabel has over 17 years experience in operations management. As administrative assistant, she is responsible for managing PGF’s office and providing logistical support for the organization of meetings, focus groups, interviews and consultations. She also makes the travel arrangements for staff members and external collaborators. Her responsibilities include writing, editing and translating various documents in Canada’s two official languages.

Before joining the PGF team in 2009, Mabel worked for several years as operations manager of an HIV/AIDS project with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC/HIV) in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Mabel has a BA in Modern Literature from the University of Ghana and a Master’s from the University of Paris VII in France. She has also completed various courses in project management and administration in the United States and Canada. She is fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

Mabel lives out her commitment to helping others as a pastor in her church and chief coordinator of the Ottawa Chapter of the Wailing Women Worldwide Intercessors of Canada Movement.
