Debra Violette Proulx

Debra Violette holds 20 years of experience in the development and management of projects and people. A self-qualified visionary, she stands out by her leadership and facilitation skills. Prior to joining the PGF team, Debra worked in international development, major event organization and in consulting in Ottawa, Toronto, Northern Ontario, West Africa and Quebec City.

Throughout different mandates, Debra developed and delivered training programs, conducted project evaluations and procedures, and advanced strategic planning processes. She possesses expertise in Human and Material Resource management, focused on supporting clients in the development and implementation of their vision. She is fluent in both French and English.

An anthropologist by training, Debra is interested in everything related to cultural identity, with a strong penchant for the Canadian Francophonie. Thanks to the COVID-related confinement with four children at home, she has honed her priority management skills and adaptability and is avid to put them to work for her clients!

  1. Support to the Canadian Teachers Federation in the coordination of its national campaign for increased valuation of the teaching profession.
  2. Support to TFO for the evaluation of its contribution to Ontario’s Aménagement Linguistique Policy.
  3. Support to the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) in the development of its Professional Collaboration Framework.
