Strategic Planning
An organization’s strategy is the translation of the “intended purpose” of governance and senior management into a precise and measurable plan to maximize its impact on its clients and beneficiaries. In other words, it’s every organization’s compass. More often than not, this translates into a strategic plan, which becomes an adaptable operational or implementation plan to take account of the inevitable complexities of any organization’s internal and external environment. To be credible and engaging, and to bring about real change, the planning process must be highly participative. Thus, a strategic planning process must involve key stakeholders, especially those who will be responsible for steering and implementing it.
Strategic planning is part of a cycle, from the strategic analysis and development of the strategic plan to its renewal, and generally the construction of implementation plans, their breakdown into sector or priority plans, and the monitoring and evaluation of their implementation.
PGF’s team supports its customers with rigor and sensitivity in their thinking, as well as in the organization and facilitation of their strategic planning process, thanks to tools and methods tailored to their needs and context.
Organizational Development
An organization or a company is constantly rethinking and evolving. Whether it’s looking for greater efficiency and effectiveness in its operations, improved or extended services, greater capacity to implement its strategy and structuring projects, or improved well-being in the workplace, it needs to engage its members in transformative actions. The external environment (the economic and budgetary context, competition, new customer needs and behaviors, technology, labor shortages, etc.) feeds and impacts the organization’s need to evolve.
Organizational development is as much a problem identification and resolution process as it is a change management exercise. Structured, participative tools and methods are essential. Engaging the organization’s members in the search for and implementation of transformative actions cannot be improvised, and requires thought and deliberation. The PGF team supports its clients with rigor, boldness and sensitivity in the development of their organizations. The partnership developed with the Institut de Socioéconomie des Entreprises et des Organisations (ISEOR from Lyon, France) adds a new tool in our toolbox to better meet the specific needs of our clients
Study and Research
Today, organizations and companies are faced by increasingly complex challenges. Across the board, regardless of client-specific needs (strategic/organizational/partnership development/funding applications/the creation of new services/ infrastructure upgrades/expansion… etc…) our clients demand to be equipped with evidence to support their decision-making, as well as to convince and mobilize their stakeholders.
PGF applies rigorous methods and mobilizes its network through a wide range of services: knowledge reviews in a particular field, statistical and historical analyses, needs studies, feasibility studies, program and performance evaluations, target-audience analysis, interviews and surveys, strategic intelligence.
In order to strengthen and complement its study and research services, PGF has integrated Socius Recherche et Conseils, drawing on the expertise of its members and its network of collaborators. The experience, quality, diversity as well as complementarity of these teams help us to successfully meet our clients’ needs.
